Preserving the Nickel Plate

Preservation of Nickel Plate equipment and materials is one of our Society's main functions. To learn more about donating either money or materials to help with our preservation efforts, please click here.

Please click on the links below to view our lists of existing Nickel Plate equipment and buildings. Corrections are welcome. If you are aware of any other equipment that we do not have listed here, please contact us. We would need verification of its existence - preferably a picture. Some, if not most, equipment is on property privately owned by individuals, businesses, or organizations. We respectfully ask that you refrain from trespassing on this property. Many of the items are found in museums dedicated to the preservation of NKP and other railroad equipment and memorabilia. We hope you will visit these organizations and support them to the best of your ability.
