|The NKP box car #15797 pictures were taken June 1991 near the intersection of 143rd and Route (7) seven, Orland Park, Illinois.The Wabash railroad had a small siding there. At this time it was owned by the N&W. The car was in use, and in one picture you can see that the air line was connected to the Wabash car. They were there for a while, then moved.|
Hammond, IN Train Station and Freight House. The freight house was East of downtown Hammond, Indiana, next to the east bound tracks of the Nickel Plate Railroad near the intersection of Oakley and Fayette Street. The signal department was using it. The train station was just across the tracks from the freight house, a little to the northwest.
