  • Atlas O Trainman Line, for model NKP passenger consists a 60 foot Baggage Car in DL&W livery. DL&W #2001 & 2009. 2-rail Item #2001355-1 & 2001355-2 @ $84.95 each; 3-rail item #2001305-1 & 2001305-2 @ $79.95 each. These cars also have REA lettering. There are additional DL&W coaches, combines, etc. in this same line.

Issued in a Limited Edition to Commemorate the 2010 NKPHTS Convention in Bellevue, Ohio

From its inception in the 1880s, the Nickel Plate Road generated traffic revenue by hauling livestock and dressed meat from Chicago to the East Coast by way of its connections in Buffalo. In 1922, the NKP began purchasing new stock cars to expand this business. The cars in the 40000 series were manufactured by the Illinois Car Company and would become an important part of the Nickel Plate's freight car fleet.

THESE CARS WILL FEATURE:
SPECIALLY-FABRICATED T-SHAPED LETTERBOARDS AND PROTOTYPICALLY ACCURATE LETTERING & GRAPHICS
Due to the fabrication and installation of custom parts, production will be limited to no more than 75 cars.

These Weaver O-scale cars have prototypical yellow car bodies with boxcar red roofs, ends, and lettering. Each is equipped with unique, separately applied Nickel Plate Road return plates denoting assignment to the NKP. Available in three road numbers, this offering is limited to an edition of only 33-sets (100 cars), and may be ordered as a 3-car set or as individual cars.
