NKProducts - product reviews

  • Accurail HO AAR 70-ton triple hopper in NKP paint.
Front: There's a nip in the air and a touch of snow on the ground on March 25, 2006. A fire burns hot in the 765's firebox as the newly-rebuilt S-2 awaits her first road outing since 1993. The volunteer craftsmen of the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society have done their work well; 765's break-in trips went "as smooth as silk".

Back: The 765's second career is drawing to a close in this July 19, 1993 scene at Fort Wayne. She looks fit enough but needs extensive work; her last running gear work occurred in 1955. Happily, a thorough rebuild is just what she'll receive and today she's back, better than ever.
