Membership Forms

A separate form must be submitted for each individual applying for new membership. Please answer all questions and remit the necessary dues with the appropriate form. Incomplete forms and/or incorrect dues will cause a delay in processing your membership while we request missing information and/or dues. All applicants for Retired Membership status must provide documentation.

Dues

Foreign applications must be accompanied by an International Money Order payable in US Funds.

Please do not send dues for more than one year. We will accept payment for only the current year or the upcoming membership year beginning October 17. All applications received after August 31st will be processed for the next membership year unless specific instructions to the contrary are given by the applicant.

For your convenience we have provided four different membership forms depending on your needs and membership status. Each form except for the Online Change of Information Form is in the PDF file format. You will need the Adobe Reader for the PDF files. IMPORTANT - RENEWING MEMBERS! The 2011 membership year commences on October 17, 2010 and renewals should be submitted by that date.
        Members submitting a renewal postmarked after December 1, 2010 will be assessed a $5.00 late fee. Members not including the $5.00 fee will not receive the 2011 magazines, newsletters, etc. until the late fee is paid. The fee is not applicable to Associate members, but those memberships will be held until the sponsoring membership is paid. All internet related privileges will be suspended after December 1 for non-paid members. Please note that because of SPAM laws, reinstatement to the iContact database for the purpose of receiving the eList Newsletter is cumbersome, so please renew before December 1. Thanks!!

PRIVACY POLICY: The Nickel Plate Road Historical & Technical Society maintains a general policy whereby it does not sell or offer membership information to any other group or individual for any purpose. However, information from your application form and subsequent renewal or change of information forms may be used for internal purposes by the Society (e.g., provide information for the formation of local chapters). You will have the opportunity on each of the forms to opt out of the sharing of this information.

If you are ordering merchandise from the Company Store as well as joining the Society or renewing your membership, please send only ONE check for the entire transaction.
